Roberts Recycling is a family run business dedicated to buying, collecting and exporting unwanted clothes.
As a company our primary aim is to divert waste from landfill, but we also pride ourselves on supplying affordable clothing to poorer parts of the world outside of the UK.
We collect used clothing from numerous clothing banks, schools, workplaces, sports clubs, church events and operate a North West door to door cash for clothes collection scheme as well as having two drop off depots exclusively for the general public.
We offer a door-to-door service in which one of our drivers will come and collect from your doorstep, weigh your bags and then pay you cash (minimum collection dependent on area). SHED CLOTHES AND GAIN POUNDS!
Our collections from charity shops are organised to suit the client. We cover all areas of the North West. We also offer a unique all in one service as we can also dispose of your scrap metal, working electricals, books and general bric-a-brac free of charge.
We have clothing banks placed across Merseyside as part of our working relationship with Blythswood care. The bins are emptied, weighed and for each tonne a large contribution is made to Blythswood Care which then goes a long way to supporting their cause. Who is Blythswood care? http://www.blythswood.org/
We have a national contract set up with Guide Dogs UK and place specially designed clothing banks on sites to raise money for their cause as seen below. If you would like to help this fantastic charity and have a potential site in mind please call us on 0151 353 9349. We also provide clothing banks for Clatterbridge Cancer charity, a local cancer charity based on the Wirral.
We can supply local business’s, churches and sports clubs with our trademark clothing banks. This way the funds raised can be used for either in house activities or simply given directly to a charity of their choice.
A great way of raising funds for your school is by using our ‘bring a bag to school’ scheme. Roberts Recycling will organise a clothes recycling day every term in which each pupil brings in an old bag of clothes, paired shoes handbags or belts. You will be surprised at how quickly your children grow out of their shoes and clothes. Once collected and weighed your school will be paid directly.
